Living with ADHD (diagnosed or undiagnosed) can feel tiring at times. You might find yourself putting in a lot of effort day to day, without always understanding why it feels this way. You may notice patterns such as overthinking, masking how you feel, or finding aspects of time, motivation or organisation more challenging — and perhaps being hard on yourself as a result.
Some people come to therapy after a later diagnosis. Others are still wondering whether ADHD might be relevant for them and want a space to explore this at their own pace.
If this resonates, therapy can offer a space to:
• explore your experiences with curiosity and understanding
• reduce self-criticism and develop greater self-acceptance
• make sense of emotional intensity and sensitivity
• gently unpick patterns such as masking or burnout
• find ways of approaching routines that feel more supportive for you
• build confidence in relationships, work and everyday life
I’m Fran, a therapeutic counsellor offering sessions in Ludlow and online across the UK. I have a particular interest in supporting adults who identify with ADHD traits or are exploring a possible diagnosis. I have completed a Certificate in Adult ADHD, which informs my understanding alongside my therapeutic work.
My approach is warm, collaborative and neurodiversity-affirming. You don’t need a diagnosis to begin therapy, and there’s no expectation to mask or be any different from how you are. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, reflect, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call if you’d like to find out more.

Life can feel heavy and challenging at times — especially when you're carrying difficult thoughts, feelings, or experiences on your own.
Here are some of the areas I can support you with.
You don’t need to fit into a box — many of these issues overlap, and we’ll explore what’s most relevant for you.
● Anxiety & low mood – feeling on edge, overwhelmed, or just not yourself
● Stress, burnout & overwhelm – whether it’s work, caring responsibilities, or life just piling up
● Relationship & family difficulties – struggling to feel heard, safe, or valued in relationships
● Low self-esteem & self-doubt – feeling “not good enough”, stuck in comparison or self-criticism
● Menopause & perimenopause – mood swings, identity changes, brain fog, and feeling unlike yourself
● Grief & loss – whether recent or long ago, the pain of losing someone or something important

● Trauma & abuse – emotional, physical, or psychological experiences that still impact you
● Life transitions – changes in work, relationships, identity or direction that leave you feeling lost or uncertain
● Health-related issues – coping with a recent diagnosis, changes in your body, or living with chronic conditions
● Navigating neurodiversity – exploring traits or diagnoses like ADHD or autism (diagnosed or suspected)
Whatever you’re feeling is valid. You don’t need to hit a crisis point to deserve
support — therapy is here for whatever feels difficult right now.
