Counselling offers you the space to slow down and process what has been happening for you. It is a collaborative process that supports you in finding your own way forward — at your pace, in a supportive and non-judgemental environment.
I’m Fran, a therapeutic counsellor based in Ludlow, Shropshire, offering face-to-face counselling locally and online therapy across the UK. I support adults (18+) who are feeling anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed, helping them to make sense of their experiences and feel more connected to who they are.
My background includes roles within mental health services, including supporting individuals in a secure prison unit, which first sparked my fascination with what shapes people’s lives and experiences. I have always been drawn to supporting others, and counselling felt like a natural path for me.
I work in a warm, collaborative and down-to-earth way. I won’t judge or try to ‘fix’ you, but I will listen with care, help you make sense of what’s happening, and support you in finding your own way forward. I see the therapeutic relationship as central to growth and healing. Therapy doesn’t need to feel clinical — it can be human, supportive, and even include moments of humour and warmth where appropriate.

What made the biggest difference was feeling genuinely understood, especially in relation to my neurodiversity and personality.
The guidance felt personal and really suited me, and that made all the difference in how I engaged and grew through the process."
